5. Beer and boobs

We have young kids. When the second was born, my wife and I made a deal that we have a date night every other month, more if possible, but at least every other month. We probably have about 9 or 10 per year. We take turns planning them. When it is my turn to plan I try to find a show, comic, film or something she would enjoy and find a mexican and texmex place because she loves that food style. She appreciates it and we always have fun. When it is her turn, we go to a local pub, get beers and wings and she wears something that shows off her beauty (and the blessings mother nature bestowed upon her upper body.) I always have a great time. She jokes that she feels bad that I have to spend a lot of time to find a great night for her, but for me its just, as she puts it, "boobs and beer." I always tell her that sitting in a bar with her is my ideal date and not to change a thing. The few times she has tried something different for me, like a sporting event or a comic I know, I have always told her that I had fun, but next time lets just get some beers and hang out at the pub. So for me, its a cold pint and my lady. For my wife, its probably a more interesting evening.
