The surgery on CaliforniaPeggy's shoulder took longer than expected, but there were no complications. Had there been damage to her rotator cuff, the surgeon would have had to install a less than optimal form of prosthesis. But there was no damage, and the surgeon was happy. That's as much as I could understand of his explanation.
CP will spend a couple of days in the hospital. She will be on a regular medical-surgical floor, not on a floor with EKG monitors, since her heart rhythms were normal during this operation. This means among other things that she can have coffee with her breakfast.
Many thanks to CaliforniaPeggy's DU friends for your continued support at this difficult time.
