51. Artists aren't always respected
Mon Nov 19, 2012, 11:35 PM
Nov 2012

It took me many years to acknowledge that I am actually an artist. I was always told that artists aren't worth anything, aren't important, etc., so I naturally considered the things I created to be unimportant.

When I looked at one of my favorite projects, it finally hit me that my work does have value. It is important.

I'm glad you have realized that your work is valuable, too. Because it is. And so are you.

Good for you! LNM Nov 2012 #1
