and generally speaking the they have a gun so I need a gun mindset that can be overcome
I don't think there is any love of the gun mindset.
and this type can be stopped with $$$ and jobs

whereas the mass shooters do it for ego and publicity and love of the gun
and the old wild wild west, and wanting to copy the Dylans and Erics

Plus so many % are racist, and it appears, the Civil War is prevelant, the hate government,
the political links, etc.believe in conspiracy theories, let it fester, like supposedly McVeigh did

They would never give up their guns without a fight, and buy into the gun makes them the adult and the decider.
And warped views like they hate security, yet are captive to having a gun for security
(so that a gun is actually a prison, a gate, etc.)

and in general, the vast majority of mobs who bring in guns are the elite who funnel the guns into the poor areas, as are the drugs.
And it gets to the point that to survive they have to be part of it, unless an opportunity comes to get something to replace it.

And everytime there is a CT shooting type incident, the gun people immediately focus on their racial code words(especially gangs), yet gangs come around financed by outside forces(mafia, etc.)(and there are non-minority gangs too, but the gun people never seem to include those people

and the stockpiling of guns to take down the government seems to be equal to the teaparty,
which has almost non-existent minority

The guns worn and stroked at the Town Hall meetings in 2010 showed that it was allowed,
but
And the thought that had the Million Man Marchers all had guns, well that would never have been allowed.

and the double down by the NRA inciting even more gun buying just shows how they need to be stopped, and their threats do equal the taking down of government for the sake of their gun

simple street crime you don't have thought like that. You want $100 to buy food or drugs
or some material item. It's not political.

imho
and this is a hard topic to debate without distractions.
