1. Scary stuff. Not the viewpoints, really... just what happens to their gay children.

Working as a traveller in the bay area of california I realize how insular our area is from ignorance such as this, especially when viewing something like this. Certainly there are hundreds of stories in the city alone of the bible-belt refugees, those not accepted, disowned, ignored, written out of wills, and just generally unloved (hated) by the sort represented here.
