Discrimination is NEVER acceptable. No one should be admitted to college or hired simply on the basis of race or gender. And I was almost surprised that the supreme court did this ruling but then saw appeals court in the article. In fact, the 9th circuit court in San Francisco has a reputation for ruling liberally.
