many years ago. I was a draftee, but I permitted myself to be drafted and sent into it rather than fleeing to Canada or Sweden. Many of my peers were killed or disabled in that war.
Since we have not been in a morally defensible war since WWII, I take it that you feel that those who were killed or disabled in those wars also got what was coming to them. Perhaps we should cut off disability benefits and medical care for all those monsters who, like me, went out to do terrible things to lands and peoples who had never meant us any harm.
