It is not just a matter of women's health, it is also a matter of women's freedom not to have other people impose their religious views on them. The religious freedom argument actually works against the Republican's position, since no one is forcing religious leaders to use contraceptives against their own beliefs, but they are against allowing women to make their own decisions based upon their own religious beliefs.
