But that said, would those, or similar "Changes to Entitlements" possibly be what President Obama has in mind when he said what he said?
Would that not be consistent with what has been reported that Senator Tom Harkin said Obama told Democrats?
More importantly, would that not be consistent with how President Obama has played the gop ... and with good effect. President Obama says some ambiguous reference to "changes in entitlements" and the Left freaks out (giving evidence that whatever he has in his mind ... because he hasn't really said ... goes against his base) and the right digs in (giving evidence that the gop is doing what the gop has done and everyone else sees President Obama as will to bargain, while the gop is not.
Is that not what got him re-elected? Is that not what got more Democrats in the House? Is that not what picked u seats in the Senate?
Is that not a winning strategy for all national Democrats in 2014?
