F-22 Raptor Crashes On U.S. 98 Near Tyndall AFB [View all]

BREAKING NEWS: A plane has crashed on Hwy 98 near Tyndall AFB.

Lt. Holiday at Tyndall AFB confirms the plane is an F-22. We believe the pilot ejected safely before the crash.

Witnesses report the wreckge is on fire.

Hwy 98 is closed at the DuPont bridge. HAZMAT crew enroute.

The DuPont bridge is a major thoughfare for Panama City, FL.
