The original Goal, who Alfred Nobel put forward little over one hundred years ago, is a noble one, no doubt about it... But the world is not as it was when he was alive, when politicians and generals was mingling in the halls of Versailles and talking about making the world a better world - and in secret arming their self to the teeth for a war many of them wanted to "Cleanse the blood of the nation".. That was the reality of the world, when Alfred Nobel was given Norway - of all nations in the world, the peace prize in 1905.. A price the swedes have resented all time for given to Norway.. And they have alleyways bitches about taking the Nobel Peace Prize "back" to where they believe it belong - in Sweden, rather than accept the fact, that even Alfred Nobel itself wanted it given to Norway - not to Sweden..
And it is a long time since the early 1900s - th world HAVE changed dramatically since Alfred Nobel was given away most of his inheritance to prizes who should benefited the world, rather been used to make weapons to kill people.. you know, Alfred Nobel was the one who in the least 1800s, made it possible to make dynamite - a stuff who have always been used to kill people on a grand scale..
As is it, Sweden have no Nobel Peace Process - that is in Oslo Norway - and the best swedes should do, is to jape it up, and quiet wining about how bad it is, when people who are not in the halls of power, but who really do many things to make the world a little better place to be, is given the price.. Like this young girl, who have flighted from young age to give girls, and woman the same right as boys and men.. I think she at least deserve to be on the short list to next years nobel price... Not the same as given the prize - it is a few ones out there who might deserve it better - but she deserve to be on the short list..
And if the Swedish is so angry about it all, why they don't make their own Peace Prize - I know it is a few wealthy swedish from old families who have more than enough to make a prize posible...
