3. Where this says: "to demand the release of the exile Tibetan leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama."

.. as one of the reasons this man set himself ablaze, it almost sounded like the
Dalai Lama was being detained or held somewhere against his will by China, but
I'm guessing that's not really the case, since a google search turned up nothing
along those lines. I'm that actually means to end the Dalai Lama's being exiled
from Tibet.

Also, my google search did turn this up.

I wish the US lent much more support to Tibet's independence than it does.
