Putting out the rumors so that when their own assassination attempt occurs, people will automatically blame it on the dems.

Repukes project too much. They like to get out there first and say shit they are doing but reversing who is doing it to the dems, instead of them, so that when a story breaks, we automatically go to "well, they do it too" meme.
