In reply to the discussion: At 105, D.C. closes in on all-time heat record [View all]riderinthestorm

I stumbled around opening windows and turning off the A/C. My well went out about 10 days ago and its been a water nightmare for us ever since (I have 40 horses). The well guy finally arrived today and replaced the pump but we've been slogging water from the neighbor in such quantities that that task alone has driven me crazy.
I usually take Sundays off and I plan to sleep for most of it.
