(62,325 posts)Wall St. did not otoh, nor did politicians, thankfully even President Obama understood it. Of course all the issues you mention were concerns as they are the outcome of the main source of the problems we are having, Corporate money corrupting politics leads to all those problems, so of course they were mentioned as the victims of the policies, created many times by those who buy members of Congress, were quickly drawn to a movement that spoke for them. But there was never any doubt about the main cause of the poisoning of the political system.
And you apparently never understood the reason or the origin of the decision not to have a leader, a brilliant strategy which frustrated, and still does as intended, the enemies of Social Justice Movements like OWS.
Like all major movements before them, still in its infancy at this point but hugely successful at such an early stage, this movement continues to grow and expand worldwide and continues each day to make a difference in the lives of real people where the efforts are now focused, while at the same time bringing more people into the movement.
You can't learn about this by sitting behind your computer and reading OPs like this. Millions of people belong to the global Occupy movement, and out of all the activities going on worldwide, someone on the internet posts an OP and you decide this IS the movement. Sorry, you are simply ill-informed and that is not being rude, your comments are what I am going by.
