3. They don't use words like "communist" or "socialist" to actually mean anything

Those are just snarl words to attack the idea of public goods--which they of course want for themselves but for nobody else. Never deny--even when it's true. Just go after them for being whiny brats who want public goods without paying for them.

I can usually get them to shut up by saying that I love my communist fire department. All urban fire departments are Marxist. "From each according to his ability"--the more your property is worth, the higher the property tax you pay. "To each according to his needs"--they don't send a truck out unless you have a fire or other emergency.
