5. "Even Garth Brooks?"

Name drop time. I was the programmer for Garth's first ever website when I lived in Tulsa. He wanted a local place (he was living north of Tulsa in Owasso while his kids were still in school), and he chose the small website shop I worked for. There are a couple of things about Garth I want to say - he's one of the nicest guys I've met. That alone would probably make him think twice about performing for Trump. He also does this thing - it's not egotistical; it's a shorthand method of dealing with his performer image - where when discussing things, he'll say, "Garth wouldn't do that," or "Garth would do that." I don't think, "Garth would do that."

I think he's a registered republican, but he voted for Obama in 2012, and there was his GLAAD award for his song, "We Will Be Free," which some country stations refused to play because of these lines.

When we're free to love anyone we choose
And this world’s big enough for all different views
When we all can worship from our own kind of pews
Then we shall be free
