15. I thought I looked it up

His accident happened June 19, 1999 (that should freak him out right there). He wrote Misery in 1987. According to wiki on both those accounts.

Looking at his wiki page, he's written a lot of books I've never read and it seems like I've read a zillion of his books. He is/was a very prolific writer.
