And I think Pelosi did her a huge favor by delaying the vote by agreeing to splitting TPP up into separate votes (but we saw this split coming back as far back as April).

Pelosi can get some TAA concessions between now and the vote, Clinton can come out for Pelosi's fight in the House, and pow, next week when it passes Clinton will support it and say that they're doing great.

She can point to the TAA fight, point to how the Democrats increased assistance as per AFL-CIO demands, etc, etc.

It's rather clever. She can then pass off TPP and by 2016 it won't even be anything worth discussing.

I do not think TPP as passed will have adequate environmental standards, however, and I really hope I'm wrong, but I think there's a major conflict with environment and IP in the parts that we've seen.
