You've got that exactly right.

Many of those fundamentalists still will quote chapter and verse to condemn mixed-race marriages; they believe that Blacks are born with the "Mark of Cain" or the "Curse of Ham", depending on which imaginary human any church finds convenient to suit their racist rants. One of those humongous families lived just up the road from us here and both of the parents are currently serving prison terms for abusing to death the little girl they'd adopted from Ethiopia.

http://www.slate.com/articles/double_x/doublex/2013/11/hana_williams_the_tragic_death_of_an_ethiopian_adoptee_and_how_it_could.html

For three years, that poor child was told she had the devil within her, that she'd been born cursed, and they beat her continually with one of the recommended "rods" that sickos Michael and Debi Pearl sold thru their twisted ministry (the very same people that the Duggars used to sing praises of) to "break her will". The older boys in that family had also been given the duty of "disciplining" the younger "rebellious" children, so that helpless girl and another even smaller deaf boy, also adopted from Ethiopia, couldn't turn around or even frown without getting beaten by somebody.

It took five months to get our fucking prosecutor to finally take action against these murderers.

They were such a good religious family.

Not sure who you are referring to in your last comment but assume they are the usual randys1 May 2015 #1
