After all, it wasn't that long ago (32 years ago) that Reagan and Bush the older ran thinly veiled racist presidential campaigns and won. From my experience, America's white population does not like America's black population, and vice versa. Unlike many "Reagan Democrats", the Repukes will not shy away from their racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. beliefs.
