rather than attacking and ignoring them, and appointing a bunch of dumb neoliberal thugs to lay out his economic agenda.

Liberals warned from the beginning that the states were going to be under enormous pressure to cut jobs, and provided Obama with some clear-cut solutions for counteracting these cuts. In return, we got called retards and extremists.
