11. The first thing an adult baseball fan does when they snag a foul ball....

...is look around for the nearest kid. Be a hero to someone.

Unless it was a game winning home run, or a record homer, the ball isn't a souvenir or sports collectible. It's just a baseball. What would a grown-up do with it? Would they put it on the mantle and tell friends: "It was a foul ball and the right fielder tossed it up to me".
