Dr. O's premise is faulty, and most in the media have missed this, focusing instead on the sample of one, lack of histology, and harm to women: he confused "the G-spot gene" with a problem in DNA diagnostics when a string of "G" bases -- guanines -- gum up the works. I pointed out the error to him when he began our interview by telling me that the genetic evidence for a G-spot is what inspired him!
