please blame the parents of these kids for sending them unaccompanied over dangerous terrain and in very high temperatures . THAT is totally unconscionable !

We could not predict this human catastrophe or its size . We are doing all that is possicle under the given circumstances . You cannot expect them to be put up in first class hotels . They have a roof over their heads , food and water , and that is all that can be expected .

Its easy to criticize and complain . It is very hard to cope with an illegal onslaught like this .
