that possibly the most negative aspect of the human personality -- greed -- can be considered a stable and equitable foundation for economics in a modern, overcrowded society, where shortages of all kinds loom in the not too distant future. Critical scrutiny of the capitalist monstrosity shows clearly, that the end result is an ever increasing concentration of the world's material and capital resources into fewer hands, to the detriment of the vast majority of the world's populations. Capitalism is wasteful and unjust. If it is examined from a rational standpoint, this should be obvious to anyone. It is also exceedingly illogical, as its most central claim, is that everyone in the world can be "prosperous" if they just work hard enough, which is very obviously impossible. Also, capitalist "theory" attempts to violate the Laws of Thermodynamics, with the pretense that it produces more energy than what is physically available, demonstrating clearly, the widespread ignorance of basic scientific principles, and as result, how easily most of humanity can be bamboozled into believing nonsense. None of this bodes well for the long-term future of our civilization.
