Unfortunately for you the FACT is the demographics of the US military isn't at all what you described, and neither I nor anybody I know or have ever known in the military were involved in any of those things.
LUCKY? 6 years in the Marine Corps reserves and 8 1/2 years active duty US Army without running across any of those things isn't mere "luck." Look, I have the utmost respect for the fact that you believe Google gives you a better understanding of military culture than my combined 14.5 years of experience, but you really need to rethink that.
I'm not using demographics as a "defense." I bring up the demographics because this exchange was started by YOU bringing up demographics that were just factually wrong.
UGH. WRONG AGAIN! Only 20% of the US military are age 18-21 (who are adults BTW). 47% are 22-30 and the rest are over 30.
