Prediction: Obama will NOT attack Syria [View all]

There will be no bombs, missiles, or anything else hurled at Syria by U.S. forces.

The majority of the American public doesn't support getting involved, the British are not getting involved, and many Dems in the congress don't want to get involved.

Obama will take many hits from the neocons and the wingnuts for doing nothing, but he'll take hits from that crowd for just breathing.

What this whole issue is about right now is face saving. But no sane person would want the President of the U.S. to launch bombs on people just to "save face."

He will find a somewhat reasonable rationale for not attacking Syria.
