(22,380 posts)What it looks like he is doing is that as the most powerful person in the (supposed) Western Civilized World he is closing his eyes and ears to evil that was committed before he came to power.
I thought maybe, before re-election, he was timid and afraid to use his populace given power.
Instead he is now officially supporting the condoning of evil instead of trying to right it and give us back some face in the eyes of the world.
I had tiny bits of hope left that he would show us and them that after his re-election he might have the back bone to address the wrongs at least with a genuine investigation.
But no.
Today just might be the end of my being able to support someone to whose inauguration I shlepped my grandson on a red eye bus to Washington. After shlepping same grandson to 2 demonstrations in DC in front of the *Bush White House.
I think I'm going to just throw up. That will make me feel better.
