IMO she could as easily have denied it, so at least she gets some point for being honest. If she stopped doing it, realizing she was wrong, then IMO she should not be fired as that discourages redemption on the issue. What would we want of people who still use that word? That they realize it is wrong and stop. So if she did that, why discourage it is my take.
