The rich are getting richer. People on Social Security who rely on their COLAs are not. The people who are on Social Security and don't need the full COLAs pay the same taxes as everyone else. The people whose Social Security does not suffice to put them in a taxable bracket need the full COLAs.
It would be cruel to have chained CPI.
I agree with the post above. With the excessive surveillance, the chained CPI and the trade agreement about which Obama is ashamed or afraid to be open and honest, we have a serious problem. Who is going to vote in 2014? Does Obama WANT a no-can-do Republican Congress? Why can't he stand up and act and talk like a Democrat?
