(3,284 posts)But as someone who works in the service industry, this is terrifying. Over an order of fast-food wings (must be under $20), these two flashed a -loaded gun- at a fast food service wage slave. That is a threat to someone's life. The responses of the other customers is even more frightening. No sympathy for the person who has been threatened by a loaded gun, but an insistence that, "Hey, they shouldn't have gotten that order wrong. That'll learn'em."
Mistakes happen and nobody's perfect. A missing item from a dinner could be the fault of the cooks, could by the cashier's fault, could be a mistake anywhere along the line, and is easily corrected. "Excuse me, but I believe I didn't get my wings from this order." would get you your damn wings.
These people are probably making minimum wage, and now they have to learn a lesson on customer service at gunpoint? Just how entitled to these people really feel? Sorry to be the downer, here, but I'm just not laughing at this.
