A no-politics thread: Chris Kyle R.I.P. [View all]

No matter how one feels about the Iraq war, or some of the comments made by politicians today, CPO Chris Kyle served this nation with honor and distinction. He is a multiple recepient of the Silver Star and the Bronze Star -- this nation's third and fourth highest decorations for military valor. No matter how you feel about firearms or the Second Amendment, nothing diminishes the fact that his final moments were spent attempting to reach out to a Marine suffering from PTSD.

My condolences go out to Mr. Kyle's wife Taya, and the rest of his family. We are deeply grateful for his service.
