(22,541 posts)80. I was awake to be the first Rec last night
but not awake enough to post in tribute to one as eloquent as The Magistrate. I didn't want to embarrass myself, having already taken my Topamax and gotten completely bleary eyed and fuzzy minded. DU would be a less logical place without him. He teaches us so much. I am grateful for all the time he puts into it. There are many of us who are eager for many more lessons to come.

I love the "Sir" and "Madam." The dignity of it all always sort of elevates the discussion.
