What does it matter if Dorner had legitimate gripes against the LAPD? [View all]

This is NOT a defense of the LAPD.

Maybe his firing was unfair. So what? He murdered the daughter of the man who represented him and her fiancee, as well as another cop. The young woman and her fiancee had jack to do with an unfairness he may have suffered.

Dorner is just another highly disturbed individual with a gun determined to blow other humans away. Yes, he's better trained with weapons than most, but other than that, he's just a murdering sob.

I read his entire vile manifesto. Even if what he alleges is true, he says shit like this:

"Even with the multiple conversations and ambient noise I heard Officer Magana call an indivdual a nigger again. Now that I had confirmed it, I told Magana not to use that word again. I explained that it was a well known offensive word that should not be used by anyone. He replied, “I’ll say it when I want”. Officer Burdios, a friend of his, also stated that he would say nigger when he wanted. At that point I jumped over my front passenger seat and two other officers where I placed my hands around Burdios’ neck and squeezed. I stated to Burdios, “Don’t fucking say that”. At that point there was pushing and shoving and we were separated by several other officers. What I should have done, was put a Winchester Ranger SXT 9mm 147 grain bullet in his skull and Officer Magana’s skull."

the entire screed is one big honking example of extreme cognitive dissonance. It's clear that who he thinks he is and his actual behavior are wildly at odds.

And by the way, Asian officers, lesbian officers, Hispanic officers that this man deems to have behaved in certain ways, are all "high value targets".

Here are some egregious passages from his "manifesto":

"To those children of the officers who are eradicated, your parent was not the individual you thought they were. As you get older,you will see the evidence that your parent was a tyrant who loss their ethos and instead followed the path of moral corruptness. They conspired to hide and suppress the truth of misconduct on others behalf’s. Your parent will have a name and plaque on the fallen officers memorial in D.C. But, In all honesty, your parents name will be a reminder to other officers to maintain the oath they swore and to stay along the shoreline that has guided them from childhood to that of a local, state, or federal law enforcement officer."

Not only is that mondo narcissistic but it's cruel as hell and utterly delusional.

"I never had the opportunity to have a family of my own, I’m terminating yours. Quan, Anderson, Evans, and BOR members Look your wives/husbands and surviving children directly in the face and tell them the truth as to why your children are dead."

"Wayne LaPierre, President of the NRA, you’re a vile and inhumane piece of shit. You never even showed 30 seconds of empathy for the children, teachers, and families of Sandy Hook. You deflected any type of blame/responsibility and directed it toward the influence of movies and the media. You are a failure of a human being. May all of your immediate and distant family die horrific deaths in front of you."

And the number of times he wishes agonizing death on this person or that group, is impressive.

I just want them to catch this guy and put him away for life.
