(172 posts)American labor in general and especially private sector organized labor needs to turn the tables on those millionaire and billionaire elites that have been able to hire and use the media, owned pundits and political discourse as propaganda to vilify average working people.
Why hasn't organized labor made it their priority to focus on changing public perceptions, doing good, and helping society and hiring PR Bernays type professionals that know how to do it. The politics will follow if public goodwill is captured.
How many times have we heard the puppets of the rich use the term "greedy union goons" and "crooked union leaders looking out for their own interest"? That perception needs changed. The real crooks run Wall St, own the politicians, and control other institutions that are overly greed based.
