Every now and then I have to shoot a coyote or fox that's raiding my chickens and ducks, however, if they leave my livestock alone, I leave them alone. They are great for controlling pests like rats, rabbits, mice, squirrels and the like.
And I fucking hate the traps, I too destroy them if I come across them on my land.

I've heard them in a park north of Seattle at night in the winter. They like to eat squirrels.
