In reply to the discussion: NC Dems taking GOP to court over gerrymandered districts are looking for help. [View all]KoKo
(84,711 posts)20. blm...it was the ALEC AGENDA...they started the moment Obama was elected
even though they'd been in the background...once 2008 came they and the Chamber of Commerce STARTED the move to RE-Gerrymander our Districts in NC.
Obama and Dems knew heads up it was COMING. And, they blame 2010 Election on
"Disaffected Dems" who didn't show up to vote. Damn It....All the Progressive Dems I knew got out their and Voted...but it had already started! And, it wasn't until ELECTION 2012 that NC TURNED BACK RED!
Dem Party Ops didn't give us the help we needed...they depended on OBAMA Charisma to carry the STATE. Meantime the RW GREW AND GREW...(plus Dem Govenor's Scandals, plus Dem Party Head Scandal... didn't help, either.)

McHenry's been closeted his whole life and became bitter, evil and creepy towards the world.

I don't hold out a lot of hope for this but I'm glad that the Democrats keep trying.

NCDems started this case in 2011, KoKo. So far, they've been winning the small judgements.

None of that changes the FACT that NC Dems have been in court with GOP gerrymandering since 2011.

Agreed. Either join the fight or get out of the way. I'm in, I just sent my donation.
