100. Why you should be happy that a gun is reported when stolen

Believe it or not, it is not plutonium.

This is as knee jerk absolutist as the gun nut who tells me that they have no need to report a stolen weapon on fourth amendment grounds, I kid you not.

I would be willing to limit the ammo a gun can put through, per magazine. That is a technical problem and it would require modification of guns.

I have no issue with registration.

I would go as far as licensing

But as long as a stolen weapon is reported, fine.

Oh and once smart gun technology becomes very reliable I want to mandate at least all modern weapons to be back fitted to the technology. That would make this issue pretty much mute...
