I'm angry about the way this country so often treats Christianity as the only respectable religious view. I can't so much as buy a slice of pizza without handing out advertising for "In our invisible sky-friend we trust" or words to that effect.

Nevertheless, I agree with you that this particular criticism is unfounded. I've been active in the peace movement and the environmental movement, often finding myself alongside people who were there in part because of their Christian beliefs. Therefore, to your observation that there are pro-choice, pro gun control Christians, I'd add those Christians who genuinely seek peace and who decry our assault on the natural world.
