One of the most enjoyable jobs I ever had was as the greens keeper at a small golf course.

It was like farming with a guaranteed budget, and my crops did well. Hot and humid, lots of fairy ring and other stuff to prevent, and lots of study of grasses and horticulture. Never really cared much for chasing the little balls around, but it was the nicest little farm I ever had.

I thought this was going to be a pot thread. Disappointing. n/t Bonhomme Richard Dec 2012 #1
