11. Republicans have ACORN on the brain

Someone actually posted on the Facebook page of Acorn Media (a distributor of British and Canadian DVDs) a couple of years ago, asking if they were related to ACORN, and if not, urging them to change their name. They responded that they'd had the name since 1979 and that all sorts of businesses use the word "Acorn" in their names.
