In reply to the discussion: Sen. John Fetterman blasts squatters, violent crime: 'I am not woke' [View all]Think. Again.
(9,074 posts)12. The article doesn't make it clear if...
...Fetterman said "I am not woke" in conjunction with his stand on squatters, or if the post is just mixing statements up to achieve a desired effect.
The way that the "woke" comment just hangs in it's own paragraph in the article raises editing questions.
I also find it odd that he is talking about some sort of forced regime change in Israel, when all I've ever read about was a push for Israelis to vote out netanyahu. Has someone publicly suggested the U.S. attempt a coup in Israel that I haven't heard of?

OP
It is people on the far left that advocate for squatters rights. We should denounce this movement.

If it's so rare, then nobody should have a problem passing strict laws against it.

Thanks for the information. This could be a serious issue for voters regardless of where they live.

Pittsburgh is the most 'un-woke' major city I have spent time in. Still very ethnic / blue collar /

In Texas, squatters can be charged with criminal trespassing, but law enforcement doesn't do anything.
