34 counts. I cannot imagine how those are only crimes related to Stormy & McDougal hush money.
They've probably cherry picked the easiest crimes to convict for bank fraud, insurance fraud and tax crimes from a multitude that were referred to the Manhattan prosecutors by NY AG Letitia James last September.
A majority of 23 Grand Jurors believed the preponderance of the evidence indicated Trump committed 34 criminal violations of the law. That's not political persecution. Bragg didn't commit those acts or create the evidence that indicated those 34 counts for indictment.
We have to wait to see what they say officially but 34 counts suggested to me they flipped the bookkeeper and Trump is in a lot of trouble. It is far worse than Manafort's 18 counts of similar type of crime for lower dollar amounts.
