I attended a Keep Families Together rally today in Rochester..... [View all]

Even in oppressive humidity, the speakers were inspiring as hundreds of us gathered at the Peace Plaza in downtown Rochester to rally peacefully against what the Trump Administration is doing.

Congressman Keith Ellison, my friend, was one of the speakers, citing the 1951 Convention regarding the Status of Refugees. That those seeking asylum by entering the correct Ports of Entry are being denied basic human rights . That Donald Trump , his Administration, and Congress are violating International law, which makes them the criminals.

We all have our role to play regarding separation of children from their parents at the border. Vote, rally, resist, write Letters to our local papers, contact our members of Congress and those running for office, that the inhumanity taking place is not only violating the laws of God, but of the world.
