My column this week proposing mitticulousas a new adjective to capture the full-bore ridiculousness of Mitt Romneys remarks and behavior struck a nerve but even better, it drew some great reader ideas for other Mitt-inspired additions to the English language . . .
Romneys followers, many readers simultaneously agreed, should henceforth be dubbed Mittwits.
Some said Romneys behavior was so pathetic as to be truly mittiful.
The guy is the village Mitt-iot, wrote one reader. His actions are thus mittiotic.
. . . a few final words for Romneys propensity for blunders. Theres "mittastrophe" a major event or occasion designed to impress that has the exact opposite effect. And a philosophical reader urged us all to realize that in a complex world, Mitt happens, and sometimes Mitt hits the fan.
