5. I don't like this. We're heading down a dangerous path.

We dip our toes in a little at a time, until we are up to our necks in shit. We have not business interfering in Syria. We might be arming rebels now, because it suits our current purpose. But, if they succeed, they WILL turn on us later. Democracy is not advancing in the Middle East. Radical Islam is preempting and taking over the uprisings against the totalitarians. Since we have no national interest there, we should stay the hell out.
