17. Why this is good news.

I subscribe to The Economist and have for years. The times that information seeps out of places like that and into BI and HuffPo are times to be happy - and even more so when featured on The Daily Show given their viewership numbers. Where I like reading wonkery, most people don't - so this is a good thing. A very good thing. People have more than enough in their lives than to go looking for wonkery - and stuff like this is anything but that.
