It is magical thinking for conservative democrats, to put a conservative Obama into the same category as a liberal Kennedy.
Dennis Kucinich is more like Kennedy, and Obama is "no" more like Kennedy, then is the Ronald Reagan that people say, was more liberal than Obama.

What act of nature prevents elected democrats from following the rule of law, and not tolerate election theft?
My guess is that, people who live in glass house shouldn't stones.
Another guess is that, if elected democrats are not part of the solution, they are part of the problem.
Maybe they have to many skeletons in their own closet, and if they started fighting political corruption, they would be cutting their own throat.

And because most clueless Americans are misled, and blinded by jingoistic idealism… “Might makes right.”
Sometimes I think that it's the DLC's job to throw the Democratic base a few carrots...

It cracks me up when elected democrats talk about how nobody is above law, and then they proceed to sweep the crimes of republicans under the carpet.
Claiming it's for our own good because the Nation needs to heal.
Were supposed to believe that it would be to traumatic for the Country to prosecute our own political criminals.
Probably because we the peons have been raped so bad by our so called leaders that once we all started finding out the truth, we would be prosecuting 98% of them.
When it gets down to it, their letting the criminals go free, because people who live in glass houses shouldn't through stones.
The first job of government should be to enforce the law...

An interpretation in normal language, minus all the subject flip flopping and country needs to heal BS, it would sound like... No one can show me that the President committed a crime... Oh sure he lied to Congress, we went to war, we are responsible for the deaths of a million Iraqis, four thousand dead US troops, (not counting the injured and suicides) he bankrupted the country, and screwed the middle class well his rich friends got richer. But nope... He didn't do anything wrong. bla bla bla.
Some politicians twist and distort morality in order to make malevolent acts look good.
The word that best describes "moral values", that have been weekend to the point they no longer have anything to do with true morality, is "Paramoralism"
It is the best word that I have seen, and it explains how Republicans (for example), while claiming the moral high ground, can be the leader of evil deeds, while most people will never see the evil deeds for what they are, and therefor support the people who do them, even though it is against their own best interest.
Election theft is the last resort towards preserving our form of pretend democracy.
Keep in mind that prior to the elections, in order to help us decide on who or what to vote for.
The voters are bombarded with all sorts of lies, distortions of facts, fantasies, propaganda, and all out bullshit that, by design, ensures that "we the majority" remain...
1) Fervently divided over the least important issues...
2) We vote for the corporately owned politicians who will champion our view of the least important issues the best.
And...
3) We will outright reject anyone who campaigns on issues that are more important than the least important issues.
America has lowered the bar of acceptable political lying, cheating, and fraud, that government has become the preferred career of crooks and lairs.
Problem is that there are just to many crooks and liars, and not enough elective positions to go around.
I have heard it said, that elections were to important to leave it up to the voters, so if election theft is made easy enough, why not go ahead and use it as a last resort.
And may the best crook win.

And thanks to things like the "1st amendment", predators - along with the blessings of unscrupulous right wing clergy - rise to positions of authority and leadership, at which time, in order to hold onto, and gain even more power. They spread lies, hysteria, and even more ignorance like a plague.
America, as most have come to know it, is like a snowball headed for hell, and how many people will do what is natural; role their eyes, and read this post as being pure lunacy?
