Dear me,
Theres a pretty good breakfast place near our headquarters where you can purchase a bagel for $1.35. Including schmear.
But on Tuesday, Debbie Wasserman Schultz is holding a fundraising event where her huge corporate donors and we're not making this up will be paying $5,400 to have a bagel with our insider opponent and superdelegate friends. No word yet on if those corporate donors are getting cream cheese with that check.
This is another incredible example of how broken our campaign finance laws have become. It would take a working American making the minimum wage in Florida 671 hours more than 16 weeks of work just to be able to afford that bagel and speak with their member of Congress.
I dont know about you, but that must be some bagel
Your contribution will help us defeat Wasserman Schultz and send a powerful message that we are sick and tired of Washington politicians selling access to corporate donors. Weve had enough of wealthy elites buying our elections and rigging our economy.

You never know, Tim's race may be the reason for DWS's job being in jeopardy; the need for her to actually go out in the wilds and meet her voters
email from Tim Canova with the tag '$5,400 for a bagel?
